Subhash Yadav, close to Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, was arrested by the ED team. From Saturday morning till night, raids were conducted at eight locations of Subhash Yadav. After this, about Rs 2 crore cash was recovered and many documents related to land were recovered. After investigation, ED team arrested Subhash Yadav. After this he was presented in the court. The statement has not yet been issued by the ED team. Subhash Yadav is the director of Broadson Construction Private Limited. He is accused of illegal sand business. There is a stir in the RJD camp after this arrest. Earlier, the Income Tax team had raided the residence of RJD MLC Vinod Jaiswal. The team had raided the residence in Patna.
Preparations underway to shift Beur Jail
Actually, the ED team had received a complaint against Subhash Yadav for illegal sand trading and money laundering. After investigation, the team raided eight locations of Subhash Yadav including Danapur, Takiya area of Patna. The ED team was stunned to see such a huge amount of cash during the raid. The team had to order a machine to count the cash. After this, Subhash Yadav was arrested at midnight. The ED team is preparing to send Subhash Yadav to Beur jail.
RJD had given ticket for Lok Sabha elections
RJD had given ticket to Subhash Yadav, associated with sand business, from Chatra Lok Sabha constituency of Jharkhand in 2019. However, he had to face defeat in that election. Here, a year before the elections i.e. in 2018, Income Tax had raided many locations of Subhash Yadav including Delhi, Dhanbad and Patna.
